✨ Behind the Scenes: Toy Testing! ✨

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been running a little experiment: testing some potential additions to our toy collection. And when I say testing, I mean seven brave women (aged 30–40, a mix of single and partnered, from curious beginners to seasoned pros) volunteered their time, bodies, and honesty to help shape what comes next for The Salon CBR. 🙌

Each tester received 1–2 toys and a questionnaire that covered everything — from the look and feel, ease of charging and use, noise levels, and power ranges, all the way to comfort, settings, and the all-important “what did you like most/least?” We also included my favourite question of all: tips or suggestions for women using the toy for the very first time. (This is where we struck gold. 💡✨)

The beauty of this group was their absolute frankness. We didn’t want polite nods — we wanted descriptive, detailed, honest feedback. And they delivered. Some toys got glowing reviews, others… not so much. (That’s the point of testing, right? To find out what doesn’t work as much as what does.)

The outcome? While not every toy will make it into our collection, we’ve got one likely winner to stock very soon — and another that we’ll use as inspiration for designing our very own toy next year (with some much-needed adjustments, thank you testers!).

This whole process is what we mean when we say putting women at the centre of pleasure. We ask. We listen. And we’re endlessly grateful to the women who give their time (and their orgasms 👀) so openly, for the benefit of others.
